Phil's All Embracing Bhutan Slide Show
Scenes from Bhutan
The journey out of Bhutan is down, down from the Himalayas to the border town
of Puntshoeling. The first time we have seen flat land in three weeks.

On the last leg of our journey in Bhutan, I was sitting in the front seat and noticed
this interesting ornament hanging from the mirror. "I don't care if it rains or freezes,
as long as I got my plastic penis, sitting on the dashboard of my car..."

The terrain around Puntshoeling, on the border of India, where the plains of India meet
the Himalayas, and thus Puntshoeling is a border town in more ways than one. Passing through
the India gate in midtown, I could feel the energy change into a more Indian vibe.
