There are a number of Hindu temples atop Observatory Hill, and here is the Ganesh temple.
Ganesh is the elephant-god of Hinduism, the older of the two sons of Lord Shiva, and is the
god of knowledge and the remover of obstacles.
I dropped a small donation at this temple, a little help from Ganesh never hurts.

Temple devoted to Black Kali, the wrathful form of the Goddess. She is also called
Mahakali, or Smashana-Kali. Kali bestows no bliss but her devotees believe all blissful in
life is only her boon and she takes life as sacrifice, dances around burning pyres and consume fresh human blood.
