Sigths of Mussourie
Mussourie is a hill station, a mountain retreat area built by the British specifically to escape from the tyranny of the 'heat and dust' of India.
|
At 5000 ft above sea level, Mussourie was about 70 degrees F. in the day, and a wonderful respite from the heat of the plains. But nights can get freakin' cold. There's a significant population of Tibetans who have taken refuge here, but for the most part Mussourie is a vacation spot for wealthier Indians.

Mussourie is one of the most southernmost points with beautiful views of the Himalayas. Here's a moment of Himalayan 'aplenglow'.
