Phil's All Embracing Bhutan Slide Show Young Monks At the Paro Dzong Dzongs are also places for monastic training and education for young boys (and to a lesser degree, young girls), and Paro Dzong hosts scores of young monks. Four young monks watch us enter Paro Dzong. You have to understand that it's not that warm and all that most of these monks have is a sleeveless top and a shawl.
