Chendebji Chorten
We circumambulated the chorten with a group of elderly locals. As with many mountain cultures, clothes (and body) do not see much washing in the winter. |

Bhutan is famous for its rhododendron trees - however these are not the small bushes ordinarily seen in the west - these trees grow to over 100 feet high, and when flowering (they just started bloom when we were there), they create a wonderful display. |
